"It's in the Water" - Charcoal, salt, cold wax medium
The beginning
Beginning of a 4 foot by 3 foot charcoal drawing I covered with cold wax. It’s on printmaking paper so it really handles the water well! In this video, laying down textures and value as a ground and then hunting for details to develop. Started last summer and completed today with the last buffing of the cold wax. YAHOO!!! Part 2 coming soon.

Final Touches
